VINTAGE HALLOWEEN

I'll been looking on eBay at vintage Halloween pieces and the prices people are paying for pumpkins and cat's that are in bad shape. I was reading in Country Home about collecting , and about fake or find vintage Halloween. Antiquing expert Kathryn Precourt tells how to know if a Halloween piece is truly vintage. She said also buy from a reputable dealer .That Halloween collectibles were used and rarely kept,so be wary. She list reputable fraudulent eBay dealers on the web. HAT

Here is a witch hat that I made to set on a table . I love the moon on it. I have Harrison hat done now I have to do Dominic . He wants Star Wars on his Witch hat. May The forces be with you.I will be being PUTTING partners up for the hat swap soon. So kept watching.

WITCH FAIRY BROOMZELDA

Here is broomzelda she setting on a paper pumpkin. And the cat silly Jerry She has 3 brooms and a star the words "if the broom fits ride it" .Head , hands and feet are paper clay. Her body is paper mac he. Shoes are made from cheese cloth painted black. Little sister I know you been on here do you see any thing you like ? Let me know before I sell it. THE JEWELRY MARKER

Here is a karst fairy of mine the jewelry maker . He setting in a chair I made from a gourd.His head , hands are paper clay. Hat is from a gourd top. As you can see he loves jewelry and wear it all the time.I guess I need to sell some of my fairy and witch's they every where.

Uncle Sam

This is Uncle Sam his body is paper mache, hands feet, and head are paper clay.His hat is clay too.Drum is wood And he has pretty blue eyes.

Storyteller

Will my fairies were just a little mad because they not on my blog . So here is the Story Teller. He also mad because the witches are taller then him. The clay was air dry, his body is a vintage feed sack and hat is the top of a gourd.

BLACK CAT & PUMPKIN SWAP

Here the little black cat that came in my swap package from Debra S. He made his self at home here. We just love him.And I love the orange paper ornament . Harrison made up a Halloween box for a swap , said he was going to get a toy back. A HALLOWEEN toy , so now I have to fill a box for him and his brother.

Almost done with the witch hat , made a few extras , a couple for Harrison and Dominic, Tamilia ( my Daughter) and LITTLE sister who the same age as Tamilia. Now Stacy my oldest son is just a little older then Charlene (sister). Talk about stair steps they were, and everyone thought the were all mine. They still ask how my daughter , Charlene they just can't believe she my sister.

BLACK CAT & PUMPKIN SWAP

This is the package I got from Debra Schoch today, lots of nice items, love the black cat. There are postcards and candy, Harrison ate the candy kisses, he got a candy bag and filled it up with candy and find a box. He said he going to mail it out so he can get Halloween toys back like I did.

Swap Hat Started

I have cut a triangle to fit around my head it's 11 1/2 tall. The bottom of the hat I have cut 1 ' slits. Here are some fabric you could use or black creape paper. Or just anything you want. I can't make up my mind what I want to use. Debb

Witches simple

Cut a triangle shape with the bottom edge being curved.You want this large enough to make it into a cone to fit your head use a paper plate for pattern of brim leaving 1-2 " of the outside edge of the plate showing. Cut circle in middle of the plate leaving 1-2'ridge on outside,bend your pasteboard into a cone shape, so the bottom edge fits snuggly into place , leave 1/2 -1" of the bottom edge of the cone shape sticking out through the bottom of hole, cut small slits every few inches fold down and glue or tape them to the underside of paper plate.You should now have a hat shape.

What are they?

I tried to make them look like old time pumpkins, but my daughter said the big one look like the man in the moon. Both are paper machie .On his wood piece is written "Halloween come but once a year,so trick& treat with no fear,. Be home by 8 ,and don't be late . I'll be waiting at the gate, Love Mummy.

THE WITCH"S

This witch's have gourd body's and air dry clay heads and arms . The small in front is Beatrices, the next two are Gingersnap she the bad witch (in Green), and Frogette.Now Gingersnap put a spell on her princes and turn him into frog . The two in the back haven't been named yet.

Meet Whacy Wanda kinda ugly, her head and hands are air dry clay. the dress is a 1930 baby doll dress. Shoes are oil skin , 1930 era.

Still NO Pictures

I'm still having trouble getting my pictures here . But soon will will get them done. I finish another Halloween box. Have started on more witches and fairy's. I 'm redoing a room (old bedroom) just for me & my fairy's.Need somewhere to work. This could take awhile. i just throw everything in there. now I throwing things away, guess I really don't need them. Have to paint it. Still has the old green she had in there. It has a cat border she told me I can't pull that down. guess I work with it.I really happy I finally got part of my blog going.
